My advisory and executive work has spanned the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia, the Middle East and West Africa. I have held responsibility for major UK hotel assets through complex debt restructurings and been involved in substantial international transactions.

When circumstances call for independent judgement

I undertake selected short- or medium-term assignments when a significant commercial decision or financial challenge calls for experienced, independent judgement.

These assignments may arise during periods of growth or change, when financing becomes more difficult, or where the interests of owners, investors and lenders are not fully aligned.

I often find that the immediate need is for perspective: a clear assessment of the situation, the choices available and the consequences of each.

I understand what it means to carry responsibility for difficult decisions

Having managed complex financial situations from both executive and advisory positions, I understand the importance of establishing the facts, recognising the interests of those involved and identifying what is realistically achievable.

I work alongside my clients and their existing teams, bringing independent judgement, commercial perspective and practical support to help them make informed decisions and navigate difficult circumstances.

A career shaped by finance, investment and real estate

My career has combined senior finance roles, executive responsibility and advisory assignments. This has given me experience of commercial decisions from within businesses and alongside owners, banks and investors.

In recent years, my work has focused principally on hotels, supported by a broader background in real estate development, investment and construction. I have worked with investors and family offices through periods of growth and financial challenge.

Built on long-standing relationships

I am a Co-founder, and remain a Director, of Moxa Hospitality & Leisure Limited, a specialist finance boutique focused on hotels and leisure. Through Moxa, we have advised owners, investors and lenders for more than a decade working with Junson Capital, H.I.G. Capital and Schroders, among others.
